About Agape Pet Sitting…

A little about myself….My name is Keely Heiser, I am a Social Worker by trade, working in a local elementary school in Mound. I recently moved back to MN after 28 years in PA and I am so happy to be back in this amazing state! Although I am a social worker in a school, I also want to include my passion for nurturing animals in my life as well, so Agape Pet Sitting was born!

Pictured here is my faithful companion, Mosley. He does come with me for overnight stays- he is UTD on all vaccines, deworming, and tick/flea preventatives. He is groomed regularly and is a registered therapy dog. With a gentle and playful nature, Mosley is a great playmate for other dogs and really brings the fun for your dog’s staycation!

Can you provide house-sitting without bringing Mosley?

Mosley always attends overnight housesits with me. He goes back to my home during the day while I am at work. Mosley has a submissive nature, gets along with others, and is good entertainment for pups!

What areas do you serve?

I live in Mound and serve all areas within a 10 mile driving distance for overnight stays and within 5 miles for dog walking and stop-in visits. I may be available to provide services outside of these driving distances for an additional charge.

Can you administer medications?

I am able to administer medications that you provide for your pet while you are away for no extra charge. Unfortunately, at this time I do not feel properly trained to care for diabetic pets who need insulin monitoring and treatment.

What experience do you have with animals?

My whole life has been filled with the company of animals. From growing up with cats, dogs, horses, gerbils, bunnies, and birds to owning a farm in PA. With the experience I gained from North Star Pony club (H-A rating and eventing), I started a non-profit farm/camp in which I taught animal care and horseback riding for about 8 years. At this farm I had horses, chickens, dogs, cats, bunnies, goats, and a pot bellied pig.

What is your experience with horses?

I grew up in Northstar Pony Club and achieved my H-A rating which includes an intensive knowledge of horse care, bandaging, diseases/conditions, and nutrition. I have also studied and practiced Natural Horsemanship extensively. I have cared for my own horses, boarded others’ horses and taught horse care and riding for over 30 years.
